Women's livelihoods

200 widows. ₦10 million.

In Yorùbá practice the death of a husband can take a woman's income with it — the stall, the capital, sometimes the house. This puts working capital straight back into her hands.

Grants of ₦50,000 to ₦200,000 each, handed over at Government House, Oke-Fia, Osogbo, in July 2026.

Girls' education

400 schoolgirls, a trade each

Tailoring, tie-and-dye and àdìrẹ — the indigo-resist craft Osun is known for. Students in SS1 to SS3, from more than ten schools.

The point is simple: a certificate is worth less when there is no job behind it. A trade leaves school with her.

“No amount spent on education is a waste. An untrained child poses a threat to society's growth and development.” Chief (Mrs) Titilola Adeleke, Osogbo, January 2024

Osun in the room, every single year

The Women ICT Training Empowerment Programme is a national programme of the Renewed Hope Initiative with NITDA, chaired by Her Excellency Senator Oluremi Tinubu. It has trained 607 women nationwide across three cohorts.

Osun's part is to select, prepare and accompany the state's delegation to every cohort — coordinated by our founder in her role as State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Initiative in Osun.
