Ìmọ́lẹ̀ Osun Foundation

One Yorùbá word.

Ìmọ́lẹ̀ means light. Not the light of a slogan — the light you switch on in a room where someone is trying to work.

The Foundation

What we are

The Foundation works in four areas, and each one is done alongside someone: the Office of the First Lady, the Osun State Government, a national programme, or a partner organisation.

Digital skills

RHI and NITDA deliver the national ICT programme; she coordinates Osun's delegation.

Livelihoods

Through the Office of the First Lady, 200 widows received business grants in Osogbo.

Girls' education

A vocational training commitment was announced for more than 400 secondary students.

Inclusion

With the Osun State Government and Real Care Humanity Foundation, working equipment reached people with disabilities in Ede; Her Excellency was represented at the handover.

How we work

Four rules

No number without a source

We would rather say less than say something we cannot stand behind.

No cheque without a programme

A future grant programme should say how people were chosen, how much they received, what training came with it and what happened afterwards.

No claiming another's work

Where a programme was a partnership, the partner is named.

No English-only

Osun is a Yorùbá state. This website reads in both languages.

Registration

The Foundation's registration details are still being confirmed.

The Foundation does not yet have a controlled public mailbox. See the contact status; do not rely on an address copied from an unofficial source.
