Privacy notice
Short, because we collect very little. This notice explains what happens to anything you send us through this website.
This notice is written with reference to the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. It should be reviewed by the Foundation's legal adviser before the site handles any real submissions.
What we collect
Only what you type into a form on this site: your name, your email address, and optionally your organisation, phone number and message. Nothing else. We do not ask for, and you should never send us, financial details, identity-document numbers or passwords.
What we do not do
- We do not use advertising or analytics trackers. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, and no third-party advertising code on this site.
- We do not set cookies to identify or follow you. The only thing this site stores on your device is your choice of light or dark mode and your choice of language — kept in your own browser and never sent to us.
- We do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone for marketing.
- We do not build a profile of you.
Why we hold it
To reply to you, and to keep a record of correspondence about a partnership, enquiry or programme application. That is the only purpose.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as the conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records. If you ask us to delete your details, we will.
Who can see it
Staff and authorised volunteers of the Foundation who need it in order to respond. Messages sent through this website are delivered by a third-party form service and hosted on Cloudflare's infrastructure; both process data on our behalf.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act you may ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@imoleosun.org and we will act on it.
Photographs of beneficiaries
Where this website publishes photographs of people who took part in our programmes, it does so with their consent, and we will remove any image at the request of the person in it. We do not publish identifying images of children without the consent of a parent or guardian.
Changes
If this notice changes materially, we will say so on this page and update the date below.
