Privacy notice
No submission feature is enabled. This notice explains the settings kept in your browser, ordinary hosting and security logs, and the site's use of photographs.
Status: draft, pending legal review. This notice describes the site as it actually works today. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer, and the Foundation does not yet have a working address at which a data-rights request can be received. Until both are in place this page should be read as an honest description, not as a statement of compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
What this website collects
Nothing that you type. The contact form is switched off, so there are no name, email or message fields anywhere on this website, and no submission is sent or stored.
Two settings are kept in your own browser and never transmitted: whether you chose light or dark mode, and whether you chose English or Yorùbá. Clearing your browser data removes them.
What the hosting records
This website is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare keeps its own infrastructure, delivery and security logs. These ordinarily include the network address the request came from, the time, the page requested, and the browser's user-agent string.
We do not control those logs and we do not have a copy of them. We mention them because a privacy notice that said “nothing is collected” would be untrue: simply loading a page creates a record at the host.
Third-party requests
None. Web fonts used to be loaded from Google's servers, which meant every visitor's browser contacted Google before the page appeared. Those font files are now served from this website's own domain. There is no analytics, no advertising code, no social-media pixel, no embedded video and no external script.
What we do not do
- We do not use advertising or analytics trackers of any kind.
- We do not set any cookie that identifies or follows you.
- We do not sell, rent or share personal details.
- We do not build a profile of you.
Your rights, and the gap in them
The Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 gives you the right to ask an organisation for a copy of the personal data it holds about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted.
We must be straight with you about a limitation. The Foundation does not yet have a published address or mailbox for such a request, and its registration details are still being confirmed. Until that is resolved, this website cannot offer a working data-rights route. No contact form is enabled, so the site does not intentionally collect submissions from you; ordinary hosting and security logs may still exist. We are not going to pretend a rights route exists when it does not.
Photographs
This website includes photographs taken by the Foundation's team and credited images sourced from press and government websites. Written permission from the relevant photographers is still being sought. A visible credit identifies the reported source, but it is not a substitute for permission from the photographer; consent from an identifiable programme participant is a separate requirement.
We will remove any image at the request of a person shown in it. We do not publish identifying images of children. Reporting about programme participants is anonymised and aggregated by default; anyone named or quoted must have agreed to it specifically, and may withdraw that agreement at any time without affecting their place on a programme.
The private proposal site
A separate password-protected site, Ìmọ́lẹ̀ Works, is not covered by this notice. It carries its own explanation of the one cookie it sets and the way it counts failed sign-in attempts.

If this notice changes materially, we will say so on this page and update the date below.
